- If a 2, 3, or 12 is rolled, which are commonly referred to as “craps”, Pass bets will lose.
- A roll that results in a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 will make the rolled number a “point”.
When the shooter rolls a “point”, he will roll the dice again until a 7 or the point is hit. From this moment, the point will determine whether you will win or lose in this round. If the second roll hits the point, Pass bets will win. If, however, the dice land on a 7, Pass bets will lose. Take note that in this round, any other number aside from the point and a 7 will not affect the game, so the shooter will continue to roll.
Odds Bet
This is a special kind of side bet that you can place under your Pass Line bet. You can place an Odds bet when a shooter hits a point. If your Pass Line bet wins, your Odds bet will also win. Otherwise, you will lose both bets.
Don’t Pass Bet
Simply put, Don’t Pass bet is the opposite of Pass Line bet. If the shooter rolls a 7 or 11, you will lose the round. The slight difference between the two bets is Don’t Pass bet will win only if the result of the throw is a 2 or 3. Take note that rolling out a 12 will not affect Don’t Pass bets. Meanwhile, when the shooter lands on a point, drawing a 7 on the next roll will make you win. If, however, the shooter hits the point again, you will lose the round.
Don’t Come Bet
You can place Don’t Come bets once the shooter rolls a point. Just put your chips on the Don’t Come bar on the table. This bet can be played in two rounds. Hitting a 7 or 11 on the first round will make you lose, but getting a 2 or a 3 is a win. On the other hand, if the shooter rolls a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, a point is established. In this case, getting a 7 on the second roll will make you win the round. But if any of the points is hit first, you will lose.
