Double Bets
On a standard sic bo table, there are two sections exclusively for double bets. The first section contains double or a pair of 1s, 2s, and 3s while the second features double 4s, 5s, and 6s. To make a double bet, place your chips on the combination that you prefer.
Going for double bets means betting that two of the three dice will land on the same value. For instance, a double 2 bet will win if the roll shows a combination of 5-2-2, 2-6-2, 2-2-3, or any number with a pair of 2s. When this happens, you will get an 8-to-1 payout.
Triple Bets
The triple bets section is located on the first row of the sic bo table and is divided into two parts: any triple and specific triple. The any triple section contains all the six combinations of triple 1s to triple 6s. The specific triple section, on the other hand, contains individual subsections for triple 1s, triple 2s, and so on.
As the name suggests, triple bets win if a roll results in three dice having the same value. Triple bets have two types – any triple or specific triple. Any triple is a bet that covers any of the game’s possible three-of-a-kind combinations, which are 1-1-1, 2-2-2, 3-3-3, 4-4-4, 5-5-5, and 6-6-6. On the other hand, you place a specific triple if you think a certain number will show up on the three dice. For instance, if you chose number 5 for your specific triple, you will win only if the roll results in a 5-5-5 combo.
Triple bets are recommended to high rollers. The payout for any triple is 31-to-1, while specific triple holds a whopping 180-to-1. Even so, the chances of winning these bets are low.
Combination Bets
Place your combination bets on the third row of the sic bo table. Each combination contains a specific dice combination that you can choose from.
Combination bets cover any two specific numbers appearing on the three dice. For instance, a Combination bet of 2 and 3 will win if the roll results to a 2-8-3, 4-3-2, 3-9-2, or any combination that features a 2 and a 3. Winning a combination bet will give you a 6-to-1 payout.
Single Bets
If you want to place a single bet, set your chips on any of the sections typically labeled with One to Six. These are found on the bottom row of the sic bo table.
Single bets are placed when you are betting that a specific, single number from 1 to 6 will show up among the three dice. If you win, your payout will vary on the number of times your selected number appears. For instance, if the number you picked appear on one of the three dice, you get a 1-to-1 payout. On the other hand, you will win a 2-to-1 and 3-to-1 payout if your chosen number appears on two and three dice, respectively.
